SHOW OF HANDS
Nothin but a balearic barndance
Show of Hands is Bobby Myseh & James Hearn, a DJ duo in Vancouver B.C. playing funk-infused dance music, ranging from balearic, cosmic sundown sounds to dancefloor-focussed dubby grooves and soulful house. Mid-tempo hip wigglers is the SoH happy place, raising eyebrows and hands in equal measure.
SoH are a strong feature of the local community music scene, with residencies on the much-loved B-side Radio, and frequent shows across town (inc. the Body Shop DIY party series, It’s Okay, Lobe Studio, Bleach Listening Room, the Lido and Superflux). James is also head honcho of the long-running ‘Loose Joints’ collective since 2017.
