BriAnne Sudia

The Agency was founded by BriAnne Sudia an actor/ Interpreter who recently attended the Juilliard Schools "Interpreting for the Theatre" program and is an RID Candidate. By combining both of her unique experiences she offeres  Deaf audiences a wonderful opportunity to be exposed to great theater that was previously inaccessible.
Now the company has many interpreters allowing us to offer other ASL services on an hourly basis for your personal or work meetings, Dr appts., etc.  call for more info and rates.

Show of Hands is primarily a theatrical interpreting agency serving the NJ & PA area. We can provide the theatre with information about interpreter placement; lighting/seating requirements, deaf patrons and audience development. In addition we can suggest the appropriate number of interpreters needed based on your event.

Show of Hands interpreters have worked with the following theatres:
  • Sovereign Bank Arena, NJ
  • Forum Theatre Metuchen, NJ
  • Camden County College, Blackwood, NJ
  • Kelsey Theatre, Hamilton, NJ
  • Fulton Opera House, PA
  • Amaryllis Theatre Company, PA

Fees for our services vary based on the shows length and number of interpreters needed per performance. Interpreters require advance copies of the script, special lighting, and viewing of the production before they perform. Deaf audience members need seats reserved in front of interpreters. It is best if the front row on the interpreter side is left free for sight lines.Interpreting services available for all other situations as well.

A Show of Hands staff member will be happy to clarify any of the above. Thank you for your interest in making your theatre accessible with Show of Hands.
